Costa Ballena Ocean Golf Club, designed by Spain's legendary golfer, Jose Maria Olazabal, opened in 1997.
The 27 championship holes and the 9 hole PAR3 Executive course were sculpted from flat farmland producing a versatile course which is easy to walk. -
27 Holes/ 3 CombinationsThe magnificent Costa Ballena Ocean Course has 27 Championship holes which are studded with stately palm trees and dotted with lakes and bunkers, players of any level are tested by this superb design from José MarÃa Olazábal.
But no matter one's level, everybody will enjoy this superbly designed course which is located right next to the ocean. While the course is mostly level, the contouring of the fairways makes for interesting play. The sugar-white bunkers and palm trees which line the fairways and backdrop the greens make this a course to be remembered fondly for many years.
You will want to arrive early for your tee time because the practice facilities are amongst the best to be found in Europe.
The course which is 6063M from the yellow tees and 5155M from the red tees, is rated Par 72 SSS 72

9 Hole Executive CourseTo complement Costa Ballena Ocean Golf Club's facilities we have a 9 hole Par3 executive course.
The course is officially recognized by the Royal Spanish Golf Federation and we've had numerous tournaments played here including the National Par3 Championships.
For training or just a "quick round," it's design meets the same criteria as our Championship course with exactly the same amount of care and conditioning given.
The Executive Course is widely used by countless Professionals and beginners alike working to improve their iron and short game.
