At Costa Ballena Golf, we are proud to host the International Women’s Octagonal Match, a prestigious international team competition that will bring together some of the best national women’s teams in Europe, composed of players considered future stars of European golf.

The tournament will take place from February 11 to 14, 2026, at our facilities, offering three days of top-level golf in a privileged setting by the Atlantic Ocean. This championship also marks the start of the competitive season, kicking off the calendar for the year’s major international competitions.

This edition will feature a total of eight countries competing in a match play format, representing their respective national federations: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.

For Costa Ballena Golf, it is an honor to host such a prestigious international competition, consolidating our position as a benchmark for European women’s amateur golf and as an ideal setting for the development of talent that will shape the future of the sport.
